Turbo Fruits @ Secret Location
These southern boys know how to start a party. Nashville based Turbo Fruits made a stop in Chicago to lay down an infamous party set for some die hard Chicagoans. Blues, rock, punk, country, power-pop, rage music that speaks to the soul and having a damn good time. Hands down the best time I’ve have at a show in Chicago.

Magic Milk @ Secret Location
Chicago rockabilly  duo Magic Milk supplies a rowdy and interesting set. Blending sounds of blues, punk, country and bluegrass into a energetic and highly engaging performance you can’t help but get down with them.

Vaski’s sound teeters on the line of impressive synth-scape builds to filthy wrenching bass drops. His Electro House roots are evident in the consistency of his sound through out all of his Dubstep production. An impressive...

Eyes Manouche @ Morseland : 11-5-10
This was the second time I’ve seen my favorite Serbo-Croatian Gypsy rock band,    Eyes Manouche, perform in Chicago. Their sound in an interesting energetic blend of traditional eastern Europeans folk and contemporary rock. Lost in a furious mixture of yells, wine, and line dancing, the energy of their shows builds constantly during their sets. The greater the energy in the room the...

Jonsi @ Vic Theatre : 11-3-10
Jonsi is the lead singer for the iceland post rock band Sigur Ros. However he’s currently touring in support of his recent independent record release titled “Go”. I’ve been fortunate to see Sigur Ros preform as well and although they were both incredible live performances, Jonsi’s new performance was much different. Jonsi’s performance was much more...
